The Governor held true to his word and provided a raise for teachers

Governor Steve Sisolak signed bills to boost education funding and school safety. The Governor held true to his word and provided a 3% raise for teachers. He also increased school supply reimbursement by 80%. Schools will also get more money from marijuana sales from taxes that were previously put in the state’s rainy day fund
